Publishing Faculty & Staff Works

This BIR is a great place to house your research, whether you are faculty or staff, in an open access setting. You don’t have to worry about your research being lost. If you are traveling and you need to access your work for an upcoming conference or presentation, you can easily access your articles, books, or book chapters through the BIR.  Since it’s creation, the BIR has archived 200+ faculty and staff publications.

Why Submit you work?

It is the place to keep a digital copy of your publications in one place. The BIR is a historical record of the research done by our faculty, students and staff. More than this, the BIR contributes to the ever-growing world of scholarly communications and the research cycle by providing greater access to that output. Too, it is the place to house your conference papers and any key achievements in your field of study.

Brandeis research and education showcased in one location!

As we continue to grow and develop our BIR, we encourage Brandeis University faculty, staff, and sponsored research affiliates to consider placing their research in the Institutional Repository. For more information, or if you think you have something to deposit, please visit:

If you do not hold the copyright to your work, or it was not published open access, you will need to get permission in writing from the copyright holder(s).

If you have questions, visit the Open Access section of our site for more information.
